Qualifications for Application

Be a Bangladeshi Citizen: You must be from Bangladesh to apply.
Pass HSC or A-Level: You should have passed your HSC exam in 2024 or completed your A-Levels in November 2022 or later.
Pass SSC: You should have passed your SSC (Secondary School Certificate) exam in 2021 or 2022 with at least a GPA of 4.00.
Do Well in HSC: In your HSC exams, you need to achieve a GPA of 5.00 in subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and at least 4.00 in English.
A-Level Details: If you've done A-Levels, aim for ‘A’ grades in the required subjects, and if you want to study Biomedical Engineering, make sure you have at least a ‘B’ in Biology.
International Students: If you've studied in another country, you need to have at least 80% marks in these important subjects.

Subjects and Syllabuses for Admission Test

Marks Distribution

In the admission process for CUET, KUET, or RUET, there are two groups of students to consider, Group A and Group B. Let's clarify what each group represents:

Group A:

Group A is for students who aspire to join the Engineering departments and the URP (Urban and Regional Planning) department. If you have a passion for engineering or urban planning, you belong to Group A.

Group B:

Group B is a more diverse category, including students who wish to join the Engineering departments, the URP (Urban and Regional Planning) department, and the Architecture department. So, if you're interested in engineering, urban planning, or architecture, Group B is where you belong.

Here's how marks are distributed for both Group A and Group B:

For Group A:

Mathematics: 25 questions worth 150 marks.
Physics: 25 questions worth 150 marks.
Chemistry: 25 questions worth 150 marks.
English: 25 questions worth 50 marks.
Total Marks: The total marks for Group A's MCQ examination are 500.

For Group B:

Mathematics: 25 questions worth 150 marks.
Physics: 25 questions worth 150 marks.
Chemistry: 25 questions worth 150 marks.
English: 25 questions worth 50 marks.
Total Marks: The total marks for Group B's MCQ examination are 500.

Group B students, in addition to the MCQ examination, have a separate Free-hand drawing examination:

Free-hand Drawing: 4 questions worth 200 marks.
Total Marks: The total marks for Group B's examination, including the Free-hand drawing, are 700.

Additionally, there are 11 reserved seats, with 10 allocated for tribal people of Chittagong Hill Tracts and other districts, and 1 allocated for the Rakhain community.
