GPA Requirement of JU Admission Test
There are eight Units at Jahangirnagar University. Each of the Units, as well as subject, has different requirements. here are a list of Units and Subjects requirements
A Unit (Math and Physics Faculty)
Candidates must have a minimum of 3.50 in both SSC and HSC exams. Besides this, the following table shows the complete information.

B Unit Requirements
B Unit of Jahangir Nagar University has 6 Subjects. This unit is also known as the Social Science Faculty. Students have to acquire a 3.50 GPA in both SSC and HSC. The Special Requirements are Given below according to the subjects
Economics: Science Students can apply to these subjects. Interested candidates have to acquire 8.00 in total SSC and HSC. A in Maths and A- in English is required. Business studies students and Humanities students can apply for a minimum of 8.00 GPA in total.
Geography and Environments: Science students need 8.00 and Humanities and B. Studies also need 8.00 with A- Grade in Bengali and English
Governments and Politics: Science Students needs 8.00 and Other students have to acquire 8.00 with A- in Bengali and B in English
Anthropology: Science and other students need 8.00 and 7.50 GPA in total respectively. They also have to obtain A- in both Bangla and English Respectively.
Rural and Urban Planning: The minimal requirement to apply for the this is same as anthropology
Public Administration: Science Students need 8.00 in total GPA with A- ( Minus) in English. Arts and Business studies students need 7.50 in total with the same requirements in HSC English.
C Unit Subject with their Admission Requirments
This is mainly arts Faculty. Students have to acquire a minimum of 3.00 in SSC and HSC individually. This unit belongs to seven subjects. These are
- Bangla: A- in Bengali Total GPA 8.00
- English: A- in English total GPA 8.00
- History: A – in English total GPA 8.00 for all group
- Philosophy & Archaeology: A- Grade in English Bangla ( Total GPA: 8.00 for all group)
- International Relation: A- Grade in English ( total GPA 8.00)
- Journalism and Media Studies: A- Grade in English & Bangla (Total GPA : 8.00)
C1 Unit Admission of Jahangirnagar University
Drama and Fine Arts Departments jointly form this unit. To get admit himself in the Drama, candidates have to acquire 6.00 for Humanities and 6.50 for the Science and other groups. A Minimum B grade is required in Bangla.
For the Fine Arts departments, all group candidates need a total of 7.00 GPA with a minimum grade both in Bangla & English.
D Unit Subject Requirments
D Unit of Jahanagirngarg university has eight departments. The departments are Botany, Zoology, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Genetics, and Public Health. All subject needs to the minimum total of 9.00 with Minimum A- in Chemistry and Biology
E Unit Admission Requirements
This faculty is known as the Business studies faculty. There are four subjects in this unit. These are
- Finance and Banking
- Marketing
- Accounting and Information System
- Management Studies
All the units require the same qualification to apply for the admission test. Science students require a minimum of 7.50 in total where other students e.g. Humanities and Business studies students need 7.00. They have to get a minimum B Grade in English and Maths/Economics/accounting/Managements. It is essential to get 3.50 in both SSC and HSC.
Law Faculty Admission Requirments:
Law Faculty belongs to F Unit. Students need 8.00 in total to apply with minimal B Grade in Bangla and English.
G, H, I Unit Admission Requirement
G unit runs the BBA program. Actually, this unit belongs to the Institute of Bussiness administrations. To apply for the G Unit, Science students require a total of 8.50 GPA with A- (Minus) Grade in English and Higher Mathematics. Students from other groups need 8.00 to apply.
Information Technology subject belongs to H Unit. Only students from Science can apply for this unit. The Minimal score is 8.00 with an A Grade in Physics and Math
Bangabandhu and Comparison Studies is the new subject of Jahangirnagar University admission. Students from Science and Business studies can apply if one has a 7.50 total GPA with a Minimum of 3.00 in SSC and HSC Individually. They also need B Grade in Bangla and English

Candidates can download Admit Card from the official admission website of Jahangirnagar University. Before downloading the admit card you need the following things

- Signature 300 x 60 Pixel. Use the same signature for every unit.

Jahangirnagar University Admission Test Seat Plan
Seat Plan with Admission Test date, Time, building name will be given in national newspapers and official website. The authority also informs the candidates through mobile SMS.
