Unit Wise Eligibility of the Students
There are five units in Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University. The Unit names are A, B, C, D, E Each of the Unit has a separate requirement for the students of Science, Business Studies and Humanities. We have added details below
A Unit of JKKNIU Minimum Qualifications
- Humanities: Minimum GPA 3.50 (Both SSC & HSC) , total GPA 7.50
- Business Studies: Minimum 3.50 (SSC & HSC),Total GPA 8.00
- Science: Minimal GPA 3.50 (Both SSC & HSC), Total GPA 8.00
- Vocational/ Madrash Board: Minimum 3.50 (SSC & HSC),Total GPA 8.50
- To get Admitted in the English department, candidates need 4.00 out of 5.00 in HSC
- Minimum 18 marks are needed in the Admission test out of 45
- Candidates have to appear 30 marks written exam in English language and literature where they have to get 12 Marks for the English Department
JKKNIU B Unit Minimum Qualifications
- Science: Minimum GPA 3.50 (Both SSC & HSC) , total GPA 7.50
- Vocational/ Madrash Board: Minimum GPA 2.50 (Both SSC & HSC) GPA 4.00 scale,Total GPA 6.50
- Students have to appear in the practical exam after passing the MCQ exam
C Unit Minimum Requirments
- Humanities & Business studies Students: Minimum 3.50 individually SSC & HSC, Total 7.00
- Science/Diploma/Vocational Students: 3.50 out of 5.00 and a total of 7.50
D Unit Minimum Requirments
- Humanities students required 3.50 in SSC & HSC. Total 7.50
- Business studies students required 3.75 individually, in total 8.00
- Science, Technical and other educational groups students need 8.00 total. Individually GPA 4.00 in SSC & HSC.
- Minimum 9 Mark is required in Admission test on English MCQ
E Unit Minimum Requirements
- Science Students: 3.00 (SSC & HSC), Total 7.00 out of 10
- Business Studies Students: : 3.00 (SSC & HSC), Total 7.00 out of 10
- Humanities Students: 3.00 (SSC & HSC), Total 7.00 out of 10
- Technical and Vocation Students: 3.00 (SSC & HSC), Total 7.00 out of 10
- Minimum 12 marks required in English at admission test out of 30

Admission Test Marks Distribution
Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University has separate marks distribution in the Admission test. Here are the details of the Admission Exam marks Distribution. It is notable that, the exam will be held in the MCQ system
- AL- Bangla -45, English -45, General Knowledge -10
- AP- Bangla -20, English -20, Subject wise (song, fine arts, theater and performance studies, film and media) 15×4=60, Practical exam -50; Written exam pass number 35 and Practical exam pass number 25
- B- Compulsory : English -20,Physics -30, ICT -20 Optional : Math -30, Biology -30 (answer the only 1)
- C- Compulsory : Bangla -10,Math-15, English-25
Optional: for commerce and vocational, Accounting -25, Commerce law and apply -25: for others General Knowledge -50 - D-Bangla -20, English -30, General Knowledge -35, IQ test -15
Each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted - HSC X 3.6 + SSC x 2.4 + Admission Test Marks = Total Score
- Merit list will be generated based on Total Score

How to pay for JKKNIU Admission Test

Student can download the admit card from the official website of JKKNIU. Before Downloading the Admit card they have to update 300×300 size photograph. Then they print copy of admit card should bear in the exam hall. They have to sign in admit card. Admit Card must be printed on the A4 Size paper
JKKNIU Admission Test Seat Plan
Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University Seat plan will be published on the last date of Application which is November 10, 2019. Student can get the seat plan through Mobile SMS. To get the Mobile SMS one to have to follow the following SMS Format.
