Carry Goods & Charge of Maitree express
The luggage contrast to every adult ticket can take 35 kg of luggage. Against the child ticket, weighing 20 kg weight can be taken. The size of the luggage is 65×40 cm for the scanning machine. Accessories for commercial purposes of preventing overweight baggage charge has been high. One passenger can carry two luggage only.
For adult ticket, 35 to 50 kg you have to pay 2 USD per kg. If it’s more than 50 kg then you will pay 10 USD per kg. For child ticket, 20 to 35 kg you have to pay 2 USD per kg. If it’s more than 35 kg then you will pay 10 USD per kg.
How to Collect Ticket?
Ticket can be collected from Kamalapur railway station, the International Ticket Booking Counter at Fairlie Place of Dalhousie Square and collected from Kolkata Station also. Tickets can be collected from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm respective counters.
How to book Maitree express ticket online?
The Maitree express ticket is not available online. For security purpose, IRCTC doesn’t provide online ticket booking. If you want to buy a ticket then you have to go to the counter with the copy of your passport, visa and travel permit.
