Medical Admission Circular 2020-21|| MBBS & BDS

Director General of Health Service and Health ministry of Bangladesh has recently published Medical Admission Circular 2021 in their official website ( dghs.gov.bd). Qualification to Apply

• Interested candidates must pass SSC or equivalent examination in 2017 or 2018.
• HSC passing year must be 2019 or 2020
• Candidates should have to fill the form through online
• Minimum GPA in HSC and SSC: 9.00 in total
• Minimum GPA in HSC or SSC: 3.50 out of 5.00 individually

Important Dates

• Application Starts: February 11, 2021
• Application Ends: March 01, 2021
• Admit Card Download: March 20, 2021
• Application Fee: 1000 BDT
• Admission Test: April 02, 2021

Admission Test System

Total 300 Marks is allocated for the admission system. Out of these 300 marks, 100 marks is for MCQ examinations. Below we have provided the marks distribution system

• SSC GPA x 15 = 75 Marks
• HSC GPA x 25 = 125 Marks
• MCQ Exam = 100 Marks
• Total Marks = 300

MCQ Examination will be taken based on HSC Syllabus. The Subjects and marks are

Deducted Number of every wrong answer	0.25
Pass marks	40

Second Time Examinee

If any candidates apply for the second time in medical admission test, candidate’s total marks will be counted after deducting 5.00 marks. If he/she are in any medical or dental college, a total of 7.50 marks will be deducted from this total obtained mark

How to apply for Medical Admission

Candidates should have to apply through online. The official website link is dghs.gov.bd

• After visiting official website candidates need to enter SSC and HSC Roll and Registration Number with board and Year. He also needs to fill up the quota if available.
• After clicking on the next he will get the details of his results.
• Candidate needs to select Question language and Home districts.
• After filling the above option, he needs to fill up present and permanent address.
• After filling this he needs to add mobile number which will be used in future.
• Then he needs choose the medical college.
• After filling up all the things he needs to upload images of candidate and signature.
• Application fee can be processed through Teletalk mobile
