Eligibility of HSTU Admission

• HSC Passing Year 2020 or 2019
• SS Passing Year 2018, 2017
• The student who passed before 2015 are in not eligible to apply
• Minimum GPA 3.50 out of 5.00 in HSC and SSC
• Minimum GPA 7.00 Out of 10
• For Applying A Unit (Agriculture, Fisheries, Veterinary, and Animal Science) minimum C Grade is Required in 4th Subject
• Humanities students should have minimum GPA 6.00 and Minimum GPA 2.75 in each Subject
• Students from ‘O’ level need minimum B Grade in total 5 Subject
• A-Level Students need a total minimum of C Grade in three subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology/agricultural Studies

• Online Application Start 25th February 2022.
• Online Application End: 24th March 2022.
• Admit Card Download: 1st-2nd April 2022.
• Admission Test Starts: 2nd April 2022.
• Admission Ends 4th April 2022.
• Viva date: 1st May 2021 from the merit list. 2nd May 2021 from the waiting list, starting from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
• The admission program starts on 13th June 2021. A & D unit
• Admission program end: 14th June 2021. B & C unit
• Orientation program: 19th June 2021 approximately.
• Class Starting: 20th June 2021

Seat Number number and Subjects of HSTU

There is a total of 2005 Seats for the undergraduate candidates. Total 7 units in HSTU. There is some reserved seat for quotas. The seat distribution according to the department and faculties have given in the below table

Exam System of HSTU Admission Test

The exam will be held on the MCQ system. 0.25 Marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. They have a quota system on their total Seats

Marks Distribution of HSTU admission

A merit list will be generated based on the admission test marks. The total marks for the admission test are 150. The Bachelor of Architecture students have to seat for the 200 Marks exam. 100 Marks will be counted from the admission test and the rest of 50 marks are counted from SSC and HSC Exam (40% from SSC and 60% HSC)

For Bachelor of Architecture, candidates have to face an extra 50 marks exam for freehand drawing

For A & B Unit: Physics – 25, Chemistry 25 , English – 25 ,Biology 25

C Unit (Business Studies Student): Business policy and Manage 25, Accounting 25, English 25, General Knowledge 25

C (Science): Bangle – 40, English 40, General Knowledge -20

D Unit: Physics – 25, Chemistry 25, Math 25, English 25

E Unit: Physics – 25, Chemistry 25, Math 25, English 25, Drawing 50 Marks
F Unit: Physics – 25, Chemistry 25, Math 25, English 25

G Unit: Bangla 30, English-50, General Knowledge-20
Question Paper: The question Paper will be formulated in Bangla. For the English Question, Paper candidates have to pay 350 BDT extra

Quota System

• 5% Quota is reserved for Freedom Fighters Family Member
• 1% Tribal Quota
• 1% for family member for University Stuff
• 5 Seats for BKSP Students
• 80 Seats for Foreign Students

Admission Test Fee: BDT 500 per Unit

How to Apply for the HSTU Admission

Students have to apply through a website or Mobile SMS. Students can apply individually for each Unit. Here are the details of Hajee Danesh University admission

Apply Through Online : Student have to fill the form from the official website hstu.ac.bd/admission . After fill the Form a Bill number will be generated. This number is required for the payment

Payment System of HSTU Admission

Students have to pay 500 BDT (non-refundable) through DBBL Mobile banking or Rocket Biller ID 373 .After the ending the process, a message will be received to the mobile immediately. The Transaction ID will be mentioned there.

IF there any problem occurs to pay the fees student can contact at Admission@hstu.ac.bd by mentioning the transaction id. To know the payment status sent sms through the following Format

Download the Admit Card of HSTU

• The applicant can download their admit card from 22nd November 2022 to until the admission test from the official website.
• Student needs to upload image under 50KB before download the Admit card
• Students have to print A4 size offset paper
